The "Synchronize Password from repository" option within VigilEnt Database Security Manager for Oracle was designed to allow existing users to be synchronized across all managed satellite servers. This feature is supported in Oracle Only databases and can NOT be supported on databases integrated with PeopleSoft. The PeopleSoft process for creating users requires a "plain text" password to be encrypted with the PeopleSoft "access ID". Existing Oracle users will not work in this process, because they already have an encrypted password.
