Resolution

goal
Can I delete Alerts directly out of the VigilEnt database in Microsoft SQL Server?

fact
VigilEnt Security Manager 4.x

fix
Yes.  You can actually delete alerts from the 'Alerts' table without adversely affecting any relationships in the VigilEnt database.  The Alerts table is isolated; meaning there is no integrity or relationship issues with other tables or views.
