symptom
Failed to get properties for object /ou=.../ou=... rather than /o=.../ou=...

cause
This can be caused by importing objects from a CSV file that was exported via the GAL rather than the Recipients container.

fix

There are 2 possible solutions for this issue, please refer to the following:

  1. Follow the section inthe following knowledge base article regarding 'NOTE* - If the Exchange export was performed from the GAL...' to update the CSV file to reflect the Exchange Org name in the Obj-Container column:
  2. Create a new CSV file exporting from the Recipients container.
