There are three options for the 'Email Recipient List' that concern how you mail users in your environment.  The options are listed below along with a detailed description of each.  To locate the options please navigate to the following:

1. Click  Administration Site | Administration tab | Options | Mail | E-mail Recipient List
   
   

• Build e-mail list from user ID/group name

Use this option if you would like for VigilEnt Policy Center (VPC) to take your username and append the e-mail suffix in the E-mail Suffix text box you specified.

Example: User name: jdoe

E-mail Suffix: @company.com

Address would be: jdoe@company.com

 

• Use single distribution list for "everyone"
  
  You could use a distribution list (DL) that contains all users in your environment or create one and populate all users in your environment.
  
  Once you identify the DL or create one, you will need to specify this name in the text box List Name.
  
  Example: You have a DL called CompanyEmployees which contains every user in your environment.
  
  List Name: CompanyEmployees@company.com
  
  
  
• User groups for e-mail notification
  
  This option will use your existing Groups to pass e-mail to the users.
