Error: 'Error generating report: The system cannot find the path specified.'

symptom
Error generating the File/Directory Permissions report.

cause
There is an incorrect value provided in the FILEDIR* parameter. 

fix

When running the File/Directory Permissions report in VigilEnt Security Manager (VSM), against a remote target Windows machine, the value for the FILEDIR* parameter needs to be in the Universal Naming Convention (UNC) format.  The syntax below is how this information should be entered into the FILEDIR* field:

• \\servername\sharename\directory
