To specify the VigilEnt Security Manager (VSM) server to connect to, follow the steps below:

  1. Launch the 'VigilEnt Security Operations Console'.
  2. Click Configure at the Logon dialog box.
  3. Type in the NetBIOS name of the VSM server machine.
  4. Verify that port 1621 is in the 'IP Port' field.
  5. Click Lookup or type the IP address to confirm.
  6. Click Add to add the server to the 'VigilEnt Security Server' dropdown list and make it the default server to connect to.
  7. Click OK.
