To stop the IIS Admin Service in preparation for upgrading to VPC 3.0 you will need to do the following:

  1. Click Start | Programs | Administrative Tools | Services
  2. Locate the 'IIS Admin' service.  It may ask you if you want to stop the dependent services as well, click Yes.

You may now run the upgrade.
