symptom
Error: "Crystal Report Viewer not supported" in VigilEnt Security Manager.

cause
Another version of Crystal was previously installed on the machine.

fix
Uninstall the other version of Crystal or move VigilEnt Security Manager to another machine that does not have Crystal already installed.

note
VSM 4.0 supports version 8.5 of Crystal only.
