fix
The VigilEnt Security Manager (VSM) GUI, as well as the machine running VigilEnt Security Server (VSS), does not necessarily need to be a domain member in order to report on that domain. VSM uses the VigilEnt Security Agent for Windows (VSANT) in order to gather the data for reports.
NOTE: Issues could arise when attempting to browse machines and perform IP lookups within the VSM GUI if that machine is not a member. The machine running VSM may need to be configured to reference a DNS server in order to resolve host names.
