symptom
Error: 'PSCTEMP001 library not found' when applying CUMPTF 1X03080. 

cause
The PSCTEMP001 library exists on the system but objects have been deleted from it.

fix

To resolve this issue perform one of the following If YOU ARE NOT USING SECURE MENUING SYSTEM (SMS) ACTIVELY.    If you are using SMS, contact Technical Support before going forward.  Verify if you have any PSCTEMP libraries on your machine.

  1. Completely delete library PSCTEMP001 if it is empty or if you have completed verifying a successful upgrade.

    OR
  2. Create duplicate objects in PSCTEMP001 of the following files that exist in PSCOMMON:
    • MSFA
    • MSFD
    • MSFK
    • MSJB
    • MSLH


After doing one of the above options, try running the 1X03080 installation again.
