The Maintain Program Cross Reference screen provides functions that let you view, edit, or delete function key cross-reference information. Some source information cannot be analyzed effectively and can result in an incomplete cross-reference file. To address this concern, VigilEnt Security Agent for WorldSoftware lets you modify cross-reference files manually.

The Maintain Program Cross Reference screen is accessed from the VigilEnt Security Agent for WorldSoftware screen by pressing function key F19 (MntPgmXRef).

The Maintain Program Cross Reference screen includes the following selection options, fields, and function keys:

Selection Options
The following selection options are available on this screen:

  • 2=Edit - Lets you change a record.
  • 4=Delete - Lets you delete a record.
  • 5=Display - Displays the library and environment recorded in a record.

Column
Type the number of the column that you want to sort. The data is displayed in ascending or descending order, depending on the requirements of the application. Only one of the column numbers shown can be entered in the column field.

Sort Criteria (1)
To locate an object library, type the name or name pattern of the object library and press Enter. After you press Enter, the object library is displayed at the top of the column. The other object libraries are listed below in ascending order.

Sort Criteria (2)
To locate a calling program, type the name or name pattern of the calling program and press Enter. After you press Enter, the calling program is displayed at the top of the column. The other calling programs are listed below in ascending order.

Sort Criteria (3)
To locate a called program name, type the name or name pattern of the called program and press Enter. After you press Enter, the called program name is displayed at the top of the column. The other called programs are listed below in ascending order.

Sort Criteria (4)
To locate an exit key, type the name or name pattern of the exit key and press Enter. After you press Enter, the exit key is displayed at the top of the column. The other exit keys are listed below in ascending order.

Opt
To issue a selection option, type the number of the option and press Enter.

Object Library
The object library that contains the calling program.

Calling Program
The program that contains the soft-coded function key exit.

Called Program
The program that is called with a soft-coded function key exit.

Exit Key
The symbolic value of the soft-coded function key exit.

Function Keys
The following function keys are available on this screen:

  • F1=Help - Displays Help for the field where the cursor is positioned. If the cursor is not positioned in a field, Help is displayed for the entire screen.
  • F3=Exit - Exits the current application or display.
  • F6=Add - Lets you add a record to the current file.
  • F7=Review - Lets you sort a column of data and locate a record by typing a name or name pattern in the appropriate sort criteria field.
  • F8=Browse - Lets you page through detailed records by pressing this key, entering name patterns, and pressing Enter.
  • F13=Repeat - Repeats the selection option you type in the entry fields below your current position in the Opt column.
