Error: 'A license for the Resource Administration Module is required to perform this operation' when attempting to import Resource Information.

symptom

The following error message is listed on the Resource tab in the Reporting tool when attempting to Import:

A license for the Resource Administration Module is required to perform this operation.

cause
This error message is a result of an incorrect license key, which does not include the Resource Module.

fix

In order to resolve this issue a new license key must be generated, which includes the Resource Module.  Contact your Sales representative or NetIQ Technical Support for a new license file.
