Whenever an operation is performed via Directory and Resource Administrator (DRA), an Application event log entry is created in the form of success and failure audits on the DRA server that the client (MMC, CLI, WebConsole, or ADSI) is connect to.  This audit trail is available for viewing via the Event Viewer, or available for importing and report generation in the Directory and Resource Reporting tool.   In the Directory and Resource Administrator Reporting Tool these audit entries are imported and used to generate the History of Usage reports.  In order for these reports to be available, you must choose Usage and Operation History information when performing an import.
