Error in File f:\system\NetIQ\Group Policy Administrator\Bin\FazamGPR.rpt: Invalid export DLL or export format' When Attempting to Run Reports in the Repository

cause
This error is caused if there are multiple versions of Crystal Report DLLs on the machine.  NetIQ Group Policy Administrator (GPA) 3.0 requires Crystal Reports v8.5 for Reporting.  Certain other applications may install older version of Crystal Reports in folders other than the default, C:\Winnt\Crystal, causing NetIQ GPA to not load the latest version (8.5) of Crystal DLLs that it requires.

fix

If you encounter this issue in NetIQ GPA v2.0, upgrade to v3.0.  NetIQ GPA 3.0 installs the latest version of Crystal Report DLLs. If you are running Group Policy Administrator 3.0 verify that there is only one version of u2fhtml.dll and exlate32.dll and that the two DLL's are in the default directory. 

• Exlate32.dll (v8.5.0.217) should be C:\Winnt\system32
  
• u2fhtml.dll (v8.5.0.77) should be in C:\Winnt\Crystal
