An external source for VigilEnt Policy Center users can be specified to avoid duplicate user IDs and passwords. VigilEnt Policy Center supports users in Microsoft Windows NT domains or any LDAP-compliant user repository.
Use the following steps to set VigilEnt Policy Center as the user repository:
- On the Administration tab, click Options.
- Click User Repository.
- Click I want to keep my user list in the VPC database.
- Click Update. This option manages users in the VigilEnt Policy Center database.
