fact
Directory and Resource Administrator 7.x

symptom
When a client is launched all Assistant Admins see a licensing message.

symptom
The Assistant Admins are able to proceed as normal after selecting the OK box.

symptom
Error: 'You have exceeded the number of managed users that DRA is licensed for.'

cause

This condition is caused by having a license that includes 'grace' or 'inactive' users.  The number of accounts counted toward licensing is above the license limit, but below the license+grace user amount.  Directory and Resource Administrator (DRA) will continue to function as long as the total managed users is below the license+grace user account.  If the number of managed users exceeds this amount, DRA will cease to function in the same manner as if a non-grace license amount is exceeded.

fix

This is not an error, the product is functioning normally.

Note:  See the following knowledge base article for more information on how Directory and Resource Administrator (DRA) behaves if the license limit is exceeded.
