After translating security on roaming profiles, the profile of a new account is still pointing to the server in the source domain.

cause
That is the expected behavior.  Domain Migration Administrator (DMA) translates the roaming profile so the new account can use it. 

fix
Separately, you will have to migrate the roaming profiles to a new machine, if desired, and then update the profile path property for each new account. You could develop a script to accomplish this.
