During the co-existence period, the personal distribution list should function normally as long as there are custom recipients for mailboxes that do not exist in the respective Directory. Before decommissioning the source environment you will need to open the personal distribution list and click the update button to update the Personal Distribution list with the target information to ensure the list will continue to function properly.
