Situation

All grooming jobs are failing with a permissions error: Permission failures running SQL grooming jobs.

OnePoint grooming job failures.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, give SysAdmin privileges to the account under which the SQL Server Agent Service is running.

Cause

This can occur when the SQL Server Agent account under which the jobs are running does not have SysAdmin privileges on the database.
