Resolution

fact
Domain Migration Administrator 7.x

symptom
Error: 'The CA root certificate is not trusted because it is not in the trusted root certification authority store'.

symptom
A CA root certificate error occurs when trying to run an application on a migrated computer.

cause
When Domain Migration Administrator (DMA) translates security on the registry of a computer, DMA is translating security on the registry permissions.  DMA does not change the values of registry keys themselves (except when translating security on a user profile).

fix
To resolve this error the user will have to create a new certificate.
