NetIQ AppManager 7.0.x

Situation

How do I clear the AppManager Operator Console cache?

Resolution

In some instances, you may need to clear the Operator Console cache to ensure a new connection is made when the Operator Console is opened, or to clear any corrupted settings within the cache.  Relaunching the Operator Console will rebuild the cache folder for the logged-on user.

  1. Exit the AppManager Operator Console.
  2. Delete the AppManager Operator Console cache files and folders in the \.\NetIQ\AppManager\bin\cache folder.
  3. Restart the AppManager Operator Console.

Warning: Deleting the console cache folder will remove the current settings for all users.  However, launching the Operator Console again will rebuild the cache files for the affected user.
