Resolution

goal
How do I monitor all logical disk drives on a Microsoft Cluster Server?

fact
AppManager 5.x

fix

You may use the MSCS_LogicalDiskSpace Knowledge Script to monitor all of the resource drives on a clustered server.  In order to verify what drives are going to be monitored by the script you must access the Cluster Administrator and view the available resources.

To see your available resources:

  1. Open Microsoft Cluster Administrator Start>Program Files>Administrator Tools>Cluster Administrator
  2. Select the Resource directory
  3. This will list the available resources on the cluster server.

note
This script will not allow you to monitor only a selected drive.  In order to monitor a selected drive a user must use the NT_logicalDiskSpace and apply the AMADMIN_SetResDependancy.
