Server Consolidator 7.x
When migrating a printer: S30913: An Exception occurred during processing. The agent task has been aborted.
This issue occurs when migrating a printer to a target server that is running Windows Server 2003.
There is a group policy setting on the target Windows 2003 server that is causing this issue.
In order for the printer migration to work, you must enable a new policy introduced on the target Windows 2003 Server. You can enable this policy using the policy editor, gpedit.msc. In the Group Policy editor, the policy is found under Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Printers, and is called "Allow Print Spooler to accept client connections". Select this policy and set it to 'Enabled'. You will need to restart the Print Spooler service after enabling this policy. This policy is not present in Windows 2000 Server.
Also, we have done further testing of Domain Migration Administrator / Server Consolidator 7.1 with Windows 2003. DMA and SC 7.1 have been verified by NetIQ to support Windows 2003 for the following migration scenarios as outlined in NETIQKB16603.
