symptom
Error when trying to map a drive to a NT server in a remote site, 'No Windows NT domain controller is available for domain <domainname>'.

symptom
Cannot browse to a computer in site B from site A.

fix

This message is being returned by the operating system so it is likely that there is a WINS naming resolution problem on the network.  Verify that the WINS records in the NT domain for domain controllers in the remote domain are accurate.
