What account does the Security Manager agent use?
The default logon credential of the Security Manager agent is the local system account. If security issues require the use of a service account, it is possible to change the logon credentials of the agent service.
For current agent installations, follow these steps:
- Open Services (Start | Programs | Administrative Tools | Services).
- On the right side, double click the OnePoint service.
- Select the Log On tab.
- Select the This account: radio button, enter the service account information, and click OK.
Note: The service account must have administrative rights on the agent machine.
For future agent installations, open "Agent Service Account" in Security Manager (Configuration | Global Settings | Agent Managers | Agent Service Account).
