New virtual servers accessible from a web browser.

cause

The new virtual server configuration has not yet been written to server.xml.

The Admin Server caches configuration changes and commits these changes to the underlying configuration files only when the changes are applied to the server. The SunONEWebSvrUNIX discovery script requires that configuration changes be applied before updates to virtual servers are detected.

fix

1)       Open the Server Manager on the web server whose configuration has changed

2)       Click the Apply link in the upper right corner

3)       Click the ?Apply Changes? button to commit the configuration changes

4)    Re-run the SunONEWEbSvrUNIX discovery Knowledge Script
