The ?Server Event Logging? status under the Details tab on the AM console shows Disabled.

symptom
EventLoggingMonitor does not return any events.

cause
Event logging was not enabled at the Sun ONE Application Server application.

fix
  1. Start the iPlanet Application Server Administration Tool (iASAT) and enable Logging as documented in the Sun ONE Application Server Administration Guide.
  2. Run the Discovery Knowledge Script again.
  3. Run the Knowledge Script again.
