[7434]E20756: SID History cannot be updated for user1. You must be logged in as an administrator in the target domain. rc=8344.

symptom

[7392]W10850: SIDHistory could not be updated due to a configuration or permissions problem. The Domain Migration Administrator will not attempt to migrate the remaining objects.

cause
Using a Source Domain Admin that is a local administrator in the target domain will result in this message.

fix

If you attempt to migrate with SID History and are logged in as Source Domain Admin you will see this error in the migration.log. You must be logged in and use an account that is a Domain Admin in the Target domain and a member of local administrators in the source domain.
