fix

The Translate Objects screen in the Specify Migration Settings wizard allows you to specify the types of items that you want to translate.  These selections are also available in the computer migration and security translation wizards.

These options allow you to tailor the security translation to suit your environment and the requirements of your migration.

For example, you may wish to omit 'Printers' if there are no printers set up on your machines.  Or, when translating security on a server that will not be migrated, you wish to omit 'Change default domain logon registry key.'

There are also options to Replace, Add, or Remove.  This tells DMA how to process the ACL.  To ensure access by both the source and target accounts, we generally recommend that you use Add mode.  To complete the security translation in one step, you may wish to chose Replace, which will add the target account and remove the source account in the same operation.

You should consider the choices and select the options that are best suited to your migration plan.
