Resolution

goal
If source files are compressed, is there a way to keep the target files from being compressed?

fact
Server Consolidator 7.x

fix

No, Server Consolitator will migrate the data with its attributes including compression.  The possible solutions are to decompress the source files prior to migration or decompress the target data after it is migrated.  Migrating compressed data may take longer than non-compressed data because it is decompressed at the source and re-compressed at the target.
