cause

This error can result from using the wrong CSV file format for the import procedure. If either of the following procedures is used for the other process (i.e. you use the procedure for importing migrated objects when you are actually importing selected objects, or vice versa), you will receive an error.

Import migrated objects from a CSV file

  1. Right-click on Domain Migration Administrator.
  2. Select the Import migrated objects from a CSV file option.
  3. The CSV file you select to import should contain SourceName, TargetName, etc.

Import selected objects from a CSV file

  1. Right-click on the project name.
  2. Select the Select objects using a CSV file option.
  3. The CSV file you select to import should contain SamAccountName only.
