NetIQ Group Policy Administrator 3.0
Error: 'Unable to Print the report' or 'Printing Report Failed' received when clicking on a setting node to launch a report.
This error is caused by a conflict of Crystal Report DLLs. NetIQ Group Policy Administrator (GPA) v3.0 uses Crystal Reports v8.5 for reporting. Certain other applications, such as Remedy, might have installed a previous version of Crystal Reports in folders other than the default, C:\WinNT\Crystal, causing NetIQ GPA to not load the latest version (v8.5) of Crystal DLLs that it requires.
To resolve this issue in NetIQ GPA 3.0, verify that there is only one of version of u2fhtml.dll and exlate32.dll and that the two DLL's are in the proper location.
- Exlate32.dll (v126.96.36.199) should be C:\Winnt\system32
- u2fhtml.dll (v188.8.131.52) should be in C:\Winnt\Crystal
The other option is to upgrade to NetIQ Group Policy Administrator 4.0. NetIQ GPA 4.0 no longer has a dependency on Crystal Reports for generating the GPO reports.
