fix
This information is not accessible via any of the Directory and Resource Administrator (DRA) client tools or the Application log before version 6.5.  However, the number of user accounts counted towards licensing can be found in the DRA MMC as well as the Application log (Event ID: 14628).

One method to determine how many mailboxes are counted towards licensing is through the DRA server log, MCSAdminSvc_Startup.mc8.  This log is typically located in the following directory: C:\Documents and Settings\serviceaccount\Local Settings\Temp\Mission Critical Software.

When viewing the log file through for example, Notepad there will be entries at the end of the log file like below:

``833```0`4188`03`0`03``1984167600`29509936``Number of Exchange 5.5 mailboxes managed for the domain OnePoint://DC=domain1 is 236 .
``834```0`4188`03`0`03``1987672640`29509936``Number of Exchange 5.5 mailboxes managed for the domain OnePoint://DC=domain2,DC=houston,DC=acme,DC=local is 0.

In the example above, the log file shows that 236 Exchange 5.5 mailboxes are being counted for the managed domain, Domain1 and no Exchange 5.5 mailboxes  are being counted for the managed domain, Domain2.

DRA displays a count of users towards licensing in DRA version 6.5 and later.
