Error: 'You do not have the power to create the [object object_name]' received when creating an object in an Organizational Unit (OU).

symptom

Assistant Admins receive this error when attempting to create user accounts in an ActiveView even though they have been granted the All Properties - Create A User Account power and have an object rule including target containers.

fix

The Directory and Resource Administrator (DRA) ActiveView contains the following rules:

• Include groups and members that are users in domain Domain_Name
• Include OUs with name matching * but none of its members in domain Domain_Name but do not allow the OUs to move to other OUs

This issue is resolved in DRA version 6.5 and later.
