User-role Functions do not stay selected in the AppManager Security Manager. (NETIQKB11144)

Situation

User-role Functions do not stay selected in the AppManager Security Manager.

Resolution

Delete the old role and create a replacement role in AppManager Security Manager.

Cause

Description of problem:

  1. User creates a new AppManager user role in the security manager. 
  2. Selects all the options in the "Functional Rights" tab. 
  3. Close the securty manager then reopen it and see if the functions are still selected.
  4. If they aren't then the User Role is corrupt and needs to be replaced by a new role
