Resolution

fact
Exchange Migrator 1.x

fact
Exchange Migrator 2.x

symptom
After migration, the target mailbox has the default calendar permission set to none.

symptom
The source mailbox had the default calendar permission set to reviewer before migration.

cause
This is likely caused by the msExchangeMasterAccountSid attribute being populated on the Windows NT account.

fix
Follow the steps below to resolve this issue:

  1. Ensure both the Delegate and Delegator have been migrated to the target directory, and that the post migration task has been run to sync migrated mailboxes.

  2. Check to make sure required permissions are in place for all source sites, where delegate permissions and DLs span multiple sites.

  3. Check to see if the msExchangeMasterAccountSid attribute has been populated. If so, try removing it on a test account to see if the delegate permissions begin to work. (Copy the value before deleting it in case repopulating the value is desired.)
    • ADSI Edit can be used to peruse the Account attributes.
