Migration.log contains the error: 'Failed to rename \\server\C$\Users\JSmith\NTUser.DAT.temp to \\server\C$\Users\JSmith\NTUser.DAT, rc=2 The system cannot find the file specified.'
fix
When translating security on a roaming profile, this action must be recorded in the security event log in the target domain for auditing purposes. This error is logged when the account used to log in to the Domain Migration Administrator console does not have administrative access to the security log. To resolve this issue, grant the migration account administrative permission to the security log and migrate the users again.
