symptom
A user account is displayed in the 'User Manager' but not in the 'Select Objects' wizard.

cause

There are two possible reasons this may occur:

  • There is more than one domain controller in the source domain, and changes have been made to one Domain Controller that have not been synchronized to the other Domain Controllers.
  • Domain Migration Administrator (DMA) settings are set to 'View by OU'.


fix

To resolve this issue, please refer to the following:

  • Make sure the source DC's have been synchronized recently.
  • Change the DMA Settings from View by OU to View flat structure.
