Situation

How do I send an action email message if I have a Domino Notes mail server?

Resolution

To send an e-mail via Domino you must use the Action_NotesMail knowledge script. The Action_NotesMail knowledge script MUST be run on a Notes Mail server. Please follow these guidelines;

  • If the action is associated with a job that is NOT running on a Notes Mail server, set the location for the action to Proxy and give the name of a Domino Notes Mail server.
  • The Domino Notes Mail server must have the AppManager Agent/Client installed on it.
  • The Domino Notes Mail server must have the AppManager Domino Managed Object installed on it.
