Situation

How do I configure Appmanager to not show events with a pre-defined severity level?
How do I configure NetIQ AppManager events to automatically close, and thus not alert me?

Resolution

To configure this, in the Operator Console:

  • Go to FILE -> PREFERENCES -> REPOSITORY -> EVENT
  • Choose: "Automatically close event when severity is greater than"
  • Set the threshold limit (1~40)
  • Select to automatically close any event with an event severity level that is higher than the specified threshold value.
