By default, Domain Migration Administrator (DMA) sets the Active Directory CN name to the Windows NT SAM account name when migrating from Windows NT to Windows 2000. However, if you import the modeling data, DMA sets the AD CN name to the Windows NT full name. The Windows 2000 Active Directory Users and Computers snap‑in displays and sorts objects by CN name.
