Failed to lookup the encrypted settings for profile ..... Error = 2

cause

Spanish or other foreign language NT or Windows 2000 operating systems (OS) cause this error. To verify that profiles are not encrypted before translation, DMA attempts to contact the profile\Recent folder. In non-English client OSs, this folder could have a different name (eg. 'Reciente' for Spanish NT). This results in an Error code 2 which means 'System could not find the file specified'. DMA interprets this as an encrypted file error.

fix

Install DMA Hotfix 22291 to resolve this issue. Or, use the workaround by adding a folder called 'Recent' in the user profile (\Documents and Settings\Username).
