Reinstall the Management Server following the instructions in the AppManager Installation Guide starting on page 111 (Configuring port communication for UNIX).

An alternate solution would be to modify the registry key to update the Unix Port for the Management Server:

Use the registry editor and put in the correct port number of 0x2329 (9001)

\Hkey_Local_Machine\Software\NetiQ\AppManager\4.0\NetIQMS -> Unix Port - Reg_Dword - 0x2329 (9001)

Be sure to re-start the NetIQMS (Management Server) service after making the change.

AppManager 5.0 QDB contains all the necessary scripts to support an AppManager Unix Agent, it is not necessary to re-install the QDB database
