How should I configure DHCP in the target domain if it is using same subnets as source domain which already has DHCP?

fix

DHCP servers are reached via a network broadcast from the client.  A DHCP server should also be available for the new domain. When the computers are migrated they will find the new server automatically.

Two or more DHCP servers on the same LAN should not be configured with overlapping scopes, because this can cause duplicate IP addressing.

The detailed configuration of a DHCP server is outside the scope of NetIQ Technical Support. For specifics on configuring DHCP servers, refer to Windows 2000 Server help and the Windows 2000 Server Resource Kit.

As far as DHCP and DNS are concerned, the results of migrating a computer with DMA are the same as manually joining the computer to the new domain.
