Situation

Report Knowledge Script fails.

Resolution

Modify the Windows NT service account for the NetIQmc service to include sufficient permission to access the Microsoft SQL Server where the AppManager repository resides.

Cause

The AppManager Report Agent does not have sufficient permission to run the NetIQ AppManager Client Resource Monitor (NetIQmc) service. The AppManager Report Agent uses Windows NT Authentication to connect to the Microsoft SQL Server which houses the AppManager repository to retrieve information for the reports.

The AppManager Report Agent requires you to use the context of a domain account for access to the repository.  Ensure your NetIQmc service has the correct user name and password for the service account.
