Resolution
fact
NetIQ Group Policy Administrator 2.0
symptom
Unable to run a 'RSoP Analysis' report.
symptom
When trying to run a 'Plan' and 'Analysis' report when selecting 'What if analysis', 'move to OU' as the operation and 'OU' as the argument, the process returns an incorrect display. It displays: Ldap:\\.fqdn instead of displaying the OU structure of the domain.
cause
This issue is caused if the name of the domain is very short, typically less than 6 characters (ie. bob.com). NetIQ Group Policy Administrator does not correctly resolve the LDAP path if FQDN is less than 6 characters.
fix
This issue is resolved in NetIQ GPA 3.0
