Resolution

fact
Server Consolidator 7.1

symptom
Shares below the specified c$ share were not migrated to target.

symptom
Server Consolidator only migrates one shared directory.

fix

The share you specify in the source path will be migrated to the target path directory.  You can only select one share at a time with Server Consolidator (SC) 7.0 or earlier, regardless of installing a trial or full license.  However, SC will migrate shares that exist on sub-folders under either of the following conditions:

1. You also select to migrate the files and folders in the same step as migrating the shares.

2. The path to the shared directory in the source already exists on the target.

To troubleshoot share migration, review the DCTLog.txt file on machine where the SC agent ran, and search for "Failed to create share".  This will provide more details as to why the share was not created.  By default, the SC agent runs on the source machine, however you can specify a different machine in the Migrate Files, Folders, and Shares Wizard.

In Server Consolidator 7.1, you are able to select multiple source shares from the same computer for migration.  However, the source share names must be unique and conditions 1 and 2 listed above must be met.
