To update the properties of accounts that have already been migrated, you can remigrate the users using the 'Replace and Update' option.  This does not increment license usage because the user has already been created in the target domain.  In order to 'synchronize' the target user account attributes with the source user attributes, migrate the users again while choosing the following option:

1. Open the 'Specify Migration Settings' wizard.
   
2. On the 'Naming Conflicts' window select Replace and Update conflicting accounts.
   

• Replace and update conflicting accounts - Changes properties of existing accounts in the target domain to match the properties of the account with the same name in the source domain. If the source and target domains are in the same forest, this option is not available. 

Domain Migration Administrator (DMA) will NOT merge the updated information from both the source and the target.  All prior updates to the user account attributes made in the target domain will be lost, regardless of whether or not they were originally set by DMA or native tools.
