Error: 'You do not have enough powers to clone user in domain domain_name' when an Assistant Admin creates a user account.

symptom

If an ActiveView includes a Target Container (OU) for create operations rule to include all OUs matching '*', Assistant Admins receive the following error message when they attempt to create a user account:

You do not have enough powers to clone user in domain domain_name

 

cause
The error message is returned if the Target Container rule is configured with an '*' to include all OUs in the domain. If the ActiveView is configured with a Target Container rule configured to include a specific OU or domain the above error message is not received.

fix

This is a known issue and has been resolved in the latest version of Directory and Resource Administrator.  You may download the latest release from the following link:

This issue is resolved in Directory and Resource Administrator 6.5 and later.
