AD_FSMOPlacement Fails with Job Error and ListDCsInDomain E_ADC_COLUMN_NOT_SET


The AD_FSMOPlacement KS fails on some Domain Controllers

Resolution

The AD_FSMOPlacement knowledge script is designed to run on a Microsoft Windows 2000 Active Directory Domain Controller that has a Flexible Single Master Operations (FSMO) role.

Cause

The Domain Controller is not a Flexible Single Master Operations (FSMO) role holder.
